Looking Back on 2012….

This past year was a busy one for us and we hope you were able to join us for some of these great events. We’re looking forward to more delicious local food and convivial gatherings in 2013!


March. Tom Stearns of High Mowing Seeds. A free lecture and seed swap at the Portsmouth Pearl.


April. New England Food Writer’s Night hosted by STREET 360 Restaurant. A multi-course sampling of recipes from the cookbooks of 5 fantastic authors, accompanied by selected readings New England Food Writers

June. Pasta Making by Hand. A workshop with Debra Kam and a slideshow of her and her husband’s amazing journey to Italy.pasta_collage_3

July. Farm-a-Q. An incredible spread of summer flavors prepared by some of the areas best chefs!farmaq_collage_3

September. The 4th Annual Heirloom Harvest Barn Dinner at Berry Hill and Meadows Mirth Farm. A chef-prepared, multi-course, local foods dinner, proceeds from which will be used to support and promote local agriculture.barnn_dinner_09_table_2

October. The giant, slow snail once again made an appearance in the Portsmouth Halloween Parade.snail_collage3

November. Our annual 25-mile Thanksgiving harvest event, hosted at the Portsmouth Pearl. This year featured an amazing performance by musician Tim Eriksen. A wonderful evening with music, food and lots of great friends!
