Veggie-Grow Earth Day Seed Kits
Veggie-Grow Earth Day Seed Kits contain 6 easy to grow vegetables and they’re free!
With stay at home orders, many people have the time and desire to plant a garden and we’ve got seed for you! But…cancellation of spring events, closing of farmer’s markets, and general prohibition of gatherings means that Piscataqua Seed Project (of which Slow Food Seacoast is a collaborator) must find alternative means of getting that seed to you.
Solution? Veggie-Grow Earth Day Seed Kits! Each kit contains 6 easy to grow vegetable seeds available to anyone interested in growing a garden this year. Kits will be distributed Grab-n-Go style at assorted locations around the Seacoast starting on Wednesday, April 22.
We are so glad that our free seed kits will soon be in the hands of growers but we have accrued additional expenses due to the need for extra packaging and precautions. Can you donate now to help us cover those costs? CLICK HERE to be taken to our PayPal page where you can select the amount you wish to give. Thank-you for supporting the preservation of heirloom and open pollinated seeds
