Seacoast Harvest

Seacoast Eat Local and Slow Food Seacoast have partnered to produce Seacoast Harvest: A Local Food Guide.

Seacoast Harvest is made possible through the generous work of many volunteers, support from our sponsors, and a grant from the New England Grassroots Environment Fund.  The guide provides comprehensive listings of sources of local food in Strafford, Rockingham, and York Counties. You’ll find addresses, contact information, product lists, and hours of operation for farms, orchards,  farm stands, and farmers’ markets. It also offers a month-by-month harvest calendar, helping you plan ahead to include locally grown produce and locally caught fresh fish in your menu when they’re at the peak of freshness.

Pick up your print copy of Seacoast Harvest beginning in June (it’s great to keep in the car for spontaneous trips!). The free printed guide is distributed at

  • The Seacoast Growers Association information booth at the Portsmouth Farmer’s Market
  • Participating businesses
  • Slow Food Seacoast potlucks
  • The summer Down-on-the-Farm Picnic

A handy searchable version of the guide is available online.
