Herbal Oil Workshop & Wild Edible Potluck Supper
Slow Herbs…is that a thing? Find out on Sunday, June 7 from 3:00 – 5:30 pm at a hands on herbal oil making workshop led by herbalists and Slow Food board members Anne Dickerson and Alison Magill. The workshop will be followed by a Slow Food Sunday Potluck Supper from 5:30 – 7:00; both will be held at the Seacoast Waldorf School located at 403 Harold Dow Highway, Route 236 in Eliot ME.
The workshop will include a wild walk around the property to harvest ingredients for our oils. Find out just how valuable some of the most common plants can be for your health! We will also be making something EVERYONE needs: a poison ivy skin cleanser. CLICK HERE to find out more about the workshop and to register.
This month our potluck theme is Wild Edibles. Bring a dish containing at least one ingredient that you harvested locally – either from your yard, the woods or a local farmer. Your dish should be enough to serve 8 – 10 people. Please BYO beverages and dining kit.
