Our Signature Events
Seed to Soil Conference. Join with a community of gardeners working to preserve our agricultural heritage and teach a love of gardening to all generations. Features a seed swap, demonstrations and information tables, several round table discussions and hands-on workshops. SPRING
Farm-a-Q. On-farm barbeque extravaganza! We have wild foraged foods, heritage breed chickens, ducks, pigs and beef, fish from our waters, fresh seasonal berries, and the first heirloom veggies of summer, all in the hands of our region’s most talented chefs. Fun for the whole family! EARLY SUMMER
Heirloom Harvest Barn Dinner. Co-sponsored with Heirloom Harvest Project. A multi-course dinner led by Chef Evan Mallett of Black Trumpet Bistro. Participating Seacoast chefs each prepare one course highlighting Heirloom vegetables grown by Seacoast farmers. LATE SEPTEMBER
Slow Food Thanksgiving Dinner. Celebrate Thanksgiving with the Slow Food Community. SFS provides heritage turkeys. Guests are challenged to bring a potluck dish that contains at least one ingredient sourced within 25 miles of your home. EARLY NOVEMBER
